This hotel was popular with business people and perhaps less so with tourists. Which is okay :) the ladies on reception were very nice and friendly. Here's a few tips for some tourists staying at the hotel: 🚉To get from the airport we had to get 2 separate trains then walk from the train station. 🚉To get to lake como it is a 10 minute walk from this hotel to the train station, where you can get a train to the lake como area (20 mins). 🚉To get to Milan you need to walk to the train station (10 mins) then get the train on the other direction to go to Milan (45 mins). So all in all, if you are okay with trains then the commute isn't too bad. The walk from the train station perhaps not the most accessible for wheelchair users. 🏨Now to the hotel itself. We had a standard double room. Pros: - Bed was comfy, spare pillow available. - Shower worked. - There was a TV. - Clean & tidy. - Towels available. Cons: - Unfortunately the air con was turned off, we found the room VERY hot and uncomfortable, especially as we are used to cooler climates. - The shower door didn't close properly, but we worked around it. - The area was VERY noisy, it is on a main road that seems to constantly be busy, and you can hear even if the window is closed. - The view is not the best, if this is something you are invested in then you may want to stay closer to the city centre. 🛌🍳 Now let's review the breakfast. We had the buffet breakfast included in our stay. Foods available included: - Breads - Croissants - Biscuits - Yogurts - Boiled eggs - Jams - Cold meats - Cheese slice - Juice - Coffee - Cake - Apples & Oranges And a few other bits & bobs, cold breakfast not hot food available. For us we do prefer having hot food for breakfast, at our next hotel, hotel Ibis Ca' Grande Milan, we had hot bacon, eggs, pancakes as well as a wide range of fruits and all the cold foods too. ☀️ To summarise, a good base with a shower, bed and basic foods if you are on an Italian adventure or need a business stay. As long as you don't mind commuting in the train.

Great inexpensive short stay at this hotel. It was clean and the staff are very helpful. It is close by to restaurants, supermarkets and public transport. The buffet is 10€ per person. I guess because it is “unlimited” in the sense that you can keep going back to get more, it is at a good price. If you want a really nice breakfast selection and all different types of options then you can simply go to the Iper supermarket which is a 2min drive away.

Very nice hotel, everything grear, a/c in room very much appreciated. I didn't give 5 stars just because of location. If you do not have a car, count with walking to train station to get you to Como Lake area, train is going approx once per hour, journey takes around 18min. At the end its doable and we really enjoyed our 2 nights stay. Can't say anything bad about hotel :).

I would recommend this hotel I don't know how exactly but I payed around 50 a night for two people one night with breakfast included. If you get the same deal it well deserves all the money for the lovely breakfast the room is nice and quite large bathroom compared to other ibis I've been in France for instance

This was a perfect place to stay if you are visiting Como. Rooms were very clean and upto date. Breakfast was also good. If travelling by own vehicle, very conveniently located with available parking space. Train station is just 900 mts away from the hotel. You can easily reach there by walk in case of international tourists. Overall great experience.
