“Horrible establishment.
The hotel itself is a 5 star boutique hotel cramped into a good location on Lyon’s main square. Given that it was 5 stars, we expected excellent service and rooms which was not the case. The receptionist DIDNT speak English. Luckily we were able to communicate with my broken high school French. She was very slow and the whole process took 30 minutes. She also “accidentally” made us prepay. When we asked to see the room, she told us we had to pay for the room first. When the manager overheard and confronted her she said it was an “accident”. The room was not ready for check in until 4pm even though we were told check in is at 3pm. We were without a room for 4 hours. After long travel coming from Zurich this was a very bad welcome, especially given that the hotel was empty.
The hotel itself is small, dark run down and and cramped with no lobby. Despite extra late check in at 4pm, the room was still not cleaned properly and some trash from previous guests was leftover. This is unheard of not even in motels. The rollaway bed for a third child was a $100 surcharge, and had a very thin mattress. She was not able to sleep that night. The air conditioning does not go under 18*C and BARELY BLOWS. This was extremely unpleasant given the heat wave in France this week. They offered us to change rooms, we had been too tired.
If you wish to have a comfortable and pleasant sleep, avoid this establishment.”

“Ficamos 2 noites nas férias de Natal. Lendo alguns comentários, parece que há dois campos de comentários, aqueles que acharam o hotel lindamente decorado e aqueles que o acharam gasto e desatualizado e posso dizer que ambos são verdadeiros. Este não é um hotel moderno com tudo feito em plástico e fácil de substituir. O mobiliário é feito de componentes de qualidade e, como resultado, pode haver algumas rachaduras e lascas na pintura .. ou a cadeira pode ser irregular ... mas a cadeira era forrada de veludo e o lavatório do banheiro é feito de pedra.O que todos concordam é que o serviço é impecável e a localização fantástica. Serviço: todos foram corteses, o barman entrega as bebidas no seu quarto minutos após o seu pedido, a recepção nos ajudou a imprimir todos os formulários que precisávamos para a viagem. Situação: a saída mais próxima do metro fica a menos de um quarteirão, você está no centro da agitação de Lyon, mas o hotel é tranquilo, o Le institute fica ao lado.Dicas: o hotel tem forma de L com alguns quartos na Place Bellacour, outros voltados para uma praça diferente. Os quartos do pátio estão voltados para uma parede de pedra e eu teria ficado desapontado com um deles.”
